How does it work?

It is even easier than cutting coupons.

• Open the Ibotta app
• Select your favorite store
• See what coupons they have.
• Click the + symbol, and it add it to your account.
• Buy your groceries
• Scan your receipt.

It’s that easy! Once you get at least $20 worth of cash back, you can redeem the credits for actual cash, or gift cards. They aren’t ridiculous points either… $50 in credits equals $50 in your account.

The best part

You can use manufacturer coupons too! So, for example, $1 off with your manufacturers coupon, and $1.50 off with Ibotta app, and you can save $2.50 off the product.

Important things to know

• Your cash back comes after you’ve scanned your receipts and redeemed the credits in your account. That means you will pay full price for the item at the store (minus manufacturer coupons).
• There is a $20 minimum balance before you can redeem your credits
• Occasionally, a very short video will play (like 10-15 seconds) or you will need to answer a quick question before you can apply the coupon in the Ibotta app. After adding  50 items, only one video, and 3 quick questions popped up. These are designed to be quick and easy, so it won’t take up precious time.
• The Ibotta app works at most major stores, but not every store. Check the app for your favorite store. A few stores that I use the app at are Costco, Walmart, Target, Smith’s, Macey’s, and Winco Foods.
• Some offers require you to purchase more than one item to get the credit. This is indicated by a symbol over the item like this:
